Youth Ministry
Central United Methodist Church has one of the most awesome youth groups around!
We tackle tough issues relevant to a teenager's life. We study social justice issues like homelessness, hunger, and abuse, and learn how we can help. We get our hands dirty with different kinds of mission projects, from repairing roofs in the Bahamas, to sorting cans at the local pantry. But we also know how to have fun! With ski trips, retreats, camping trips, lock-ins, and more, you are sure to have a blast. So come join us!

Sunday School
Sunday 9:45am-10:45am, Youth Room (upstairs in the Education Building)
Sunday school is a time where we eat doughnuts, gather with friends, and explore scripture together. We are currently using a study that connects scripture and faith to justice issues.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship
Sunday 5:30 - 7:30pm
Time spent at MYF helps youth grow in their friendship with each other and grow in their faith in God. We first have dinner together, provided by youth parents and church members, followed by recreation. Afterwards, we engage in lessons that connect faith to real life situations. Youth meet in the Education Building.

Fellowship Activities
Fellowship activities are an important aspect of Youth Ministry. We dig deep into real life issues and it takes trust to open up to each other. To build trust, we build relationships through common experiences. Youth enjoy their time together at Carowinds, lock-ins, ski trips, and at youth fundraisers. It is good clean fun while connecting with other Christians.
