Advent and Christmas at Central
Advent and Christmas are always meaningful and fun at Central. It will be both this year even though COVID-19 will significantly decrease our time together and curtail some of our singing. Al Jeter, Keith Jones, and others have worked hard and creatively on our holy-day celebrations.
Here are some general notes followed by a schedule:
- No meals are planned this year. No covered dish supper and no hot dog supper.
- The evening programs on December 6 and December 20 will be shown live on Facebook. Afterwards, services will be available on the website.
- The December 20 morning service will be unusual in the seating arrangement but a welcome opportunity for more choir participation on a Sunday morning.
- In addition to these church-based events, we encourage families to light a candle during worship and create an Advent space at home.

Communion will be taken with disposable cups, and there will be no candle lighting.
