The First Christmas
A study on what the gospels really teach about Jesus's birth
During Wednesday evenings, you are invited to a study of the first Christmas and Jesus's birth. Led by a highly esteemed group of pastors and lay theologians, this course will invite you to look at Jesus’s birth in a new way. Each week will focus on a different aspect of this important event. The study will meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-7:30pm in the Upper Room Classroom at Central UMC.
This course is based on Marcus J. Borg and John Dominic Crossan’s The First Christmas: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’s Birth. Participants are encouraged to purchase this text and have scripture available through out the sessions.
All are invited and welcome to attend.
