Messy Church - Easter Around the World
March 30, 4-6pm in the Central UMC Fellowship Hall
Get your passports ready! We are traveling around the world for a Messy Easter celebration on March 30. You are invited to join the adventure as we discover Easter traditions from around the world through crafts, activities, and a celebration time together. Friends of all ages are welcome at Messy Easter. We'll meet from 4-6pm at Central UMC in the Fellowship Hall.
Reserve your seat today, and you will be entered into a drawing for a special prize. Parents, grandparents, and other caregivers are encouraged to stay and participate as well. This is not a drop off event. Free dinner is included for all!

What can I expect?
Expect an interactive, fun way to experience the Easter story with friends of all ages!
We will begin the afternoon with a gathering activity at 4:00pm. At this time, adults will register families, and everyone will play an organized game outside (weather permitting). From 4:15pm-5:00pm, guests will be invited to explore actvity tables from around the world. There will be guides to lead you in the various activities. You get to choose the activities you complete. You can go to all of the tables, spend your time at one table, or revisit a favorite activity. At 5:00pm, we will begin our celebration and storytelling time together. Following the celebration time, we will enjoy a delicious, free dinner together.

What ages are welcome at this event?
Messy Church is for people of all ages! We encourage adults to be just as involved as kids. We can all learn something from one another and experience God together. This is not a drop off event.
What should I wear?
No need to dress up for this event. You might get messy at Messy Church!
Is this an Easter Egg Hunt?
While eggs will be included in some of our activities, this is not an Easter Egg Hunt. It is so much more! It is an interactive way of experiencing the Easter story.

Where will we be meeting?
Messy Easter will meet at Central United Methodist Church in downtown Spartanburg. The address is 233 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Parking is available in the church parking lot or the St. John's Street Parking Garage.
We will meet in the church Fellowship Hall. It is located in the Fellowship Building. This is the newer building on Central's campus. There are doors directly into the Fellowship Hall from the parking lot.
