Central is among twelve host churches and eight support churches forming the Spartanburg Interfaith Hospitality Network. New Beginnings UMC is a support church for Central and contributes meals and overnight hosts each rotation.
Central hosts the SPIHN guests three or four times a year and provides overnight lodging as well as dinner and breakfast.

Central hosted the first week of January and will be hosting several more times this year.
Various groups in the church provide the dinner meals, and two members spend each night at the church.
