Central United Methodist Church is a Christian congregation whose mission is to live and to proclaim the gospel as we grow in Christian faith, nurture each other, and reach out to people in our community.
 

Our goal is to be disciples of Christ.
 

In order to fulfill our mission and accomplish our goal, over the next four years we will seek to achieve the following:
 

To grow in Christian faith we will

• strengthen our youth ministry

• enlarge our children's ministry

• expand opportunities for Bible study, worship, prayer, and Christian education

• provide Sunday School classes for all ages

• emphasize stewardship of talents, time, and money.

To nurture each other we will
 

• improve our ministry to inactive members

• strengthen the Wednesday night fellowship

• provide ministries and support groups for those in need and/or crisis

• find ways to have communication with the congregation and the community

• encourage volunteerism and provide leadership training to support volunteers.
