Whenever there is a 5th Sunday, everyone in our adult Sunday school classes meet together in the Fellowship Hall to hear a speaker address a special topic.  We won't have a 5th Sunday until the end of December, and the Christmas holidays will preclude special events that week.  We will have our 5th Sunday on October 27 at 9:45am in the Fellowship Hall.  Our speaker will be Rev. Kathryn Hunter, retired clergyperson and Chair of the Order of Elders in the SC Conference of the UMC.  She will be talking about the spiritual and theological foundations of the emerging church.  She will base her comments on the book, The Mystic Way of Evangelism: A Contemplative Vision for Christian Outreach by Elaine A. Heath.  We hope to see you there!
